Avonmore’s annual Children’s camping event.

In June, under the darkness of the new moon, the wagons slip in. The Carnival is back in town. Under the cloak of darkness, they busily set up booths and games for the upcoming carnival. By dawn’s first light, come one and all, young, and not so young, the carnival is in town!
Our wandering caravan lives to amuse the people of every town they meet.

Join our merchants, jesters and bards as we celebrate the warming weather. Bring your armourand blades, find the favour of a young lord or lady and defeat their foes to win them glory. Bring your bows and throwing daggers, step up to the line and show off the skills we love to brag about.

Come pitch your tents with ours and join us for the fun!

Important event items:

There will be a central fire ONLY.
People are encouraged to add their braziers to the designated fire area, but are not allowed to light them in other areas.

Vendors are being sought for a merchant row.
Shade will be provided for any wishing to set up a table.

Marshal activities will be at the discretion of those listed as in charge.
Thrown weapons may be added given the availability of a marshal and populous interest

ALL pets must be registered along with their owners.
Anyone not following proper leash and clean up rules will be asked to leave.

Site Fees:
Adults 18+: $20
Teens 13-17: $12
Children 5-12: $10
Babies: Free
Family Cap: $60 Defined as 2 Adults and their dependent Children.
Daily Fee: $15

A $5 discount will be given to all adults who show their membership card at the gate.

Directions from Fredericton/St John:

Take the TCH to exit 433. Make a right turn onto Fredericton Rd. At the stop sign turn left onto Salisbury Rd. Follow this until you see the Moncton city limit sign. The site will be on the left, and should be marked with SCA signs.

From Sackville/Nova Scotia:

Take the TCH to exit 454. Make a left onto Mapleton Rd, a right onto Trinity Dr. Take Wheeler Blvd (NB-15W) to the traffic circle. Exit onto Salisbury Rd. Follow this towards Salisbury Until just before the city limits. The site will be on the right, and should be marked with SCA signs.
